There are two types of American type hose clamps. The one with using range between 6 and 32mm is mini American style hose clamp. Its band's width is 8mm and its thickness is 0.6mm. The one with using range bigger than 32mm is big American style hose clamp. Its band's width is 12.7mm and its thickness is 0.8mm.The screw material of American type hose clamp can be steel with hot treatment or stainless steel. The band's material is normal steel plated zinc or stainless steel.They are used for plastic hoses or other pipes and are often packed with inner box.
